Julie Ann began her design career in Roseau, MN with the conceptualization of Bobby’s Interior Design in 1977. Ten years later, Julie Ann moved to Buffalo, MN and built a 20,000 square foot building which housed The Furniture Gallery and warehouse.
The Furniture Gallery was featured in “HIGHPOINTS” magazine, listed as one of the top four stores in the nation to watch as “style setters” along with Restoration Hardware.
The Furniture Gallery was the first store nationwide to host Raymond Waites, a $4.5 billion New York designer. It was here that Julie Ann became the first woman-owned Flexsteel Gallery in the nation.
Julie Ann opened Julian Home Couture in The Wayzata Village Shoppes in 1988 and Julian Design at 315 Lake Street in Wayzata, MN in 2012. Julian Design was featured in a 9 page editorial piece in “spaces” magazine.
In 2004 Julie Ann designed and built the winning home of The Midwest Home and Gardens Luxury Home tour, having over 6,000 people tour the home.
Drawing on her innate talent for making people comfortable, Julie Ann creates spaces that people love to live in and share with others. She is committed to designing lifestyle-friendly environments with an emphasis on functionality and beauty. Julie Ann possesses a natural and organic sense of style that is reflected in her design.
Billie Marie is a lead designer for Julian Design. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in Interior Design from The University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2002.
Billie has over 15 years of hands on design experience and an extensive knowledge of Oriental Rugs. She specializes in residential interiors, remodels and new construction.
Billie collaborates with her clients to create innovative, sophisticated and chic homes. Her inspiration comes from a passion for fine art and art history.
